Pillow Dreams
The wind seeps through the window,
into my bed chilling me,
all throughout my body.
As my head lies gently upon my pillow.
I feel the wind seep into my soul,
lifting me from my limp body.
My wings spread from moonlight
that spreads over my body's face.
I leap through the light,
flying through the stars,
leaping from light to light,
in the milky coolness of the night.
Music of the night
seeps into my ears.
Music of the stars singing
for freedom,
free from the sky to fall on earth.
While their brothers and sisters on earth pray.
Pray for freedom
From the limitations of reality,
To dance and fly into the milky sky’s coolness.
To forget a life of limitations and pain.
I listen, smile, and cry,
Never hearing a song as beautiful as this.
I thought, and I thought and I thought.
I woke.
I smiled as I lay upon my pillow.
